Audi A3
Audi A3 is a compact hatchback car that was made by the car company Audi in Ingolstadt, Germany since 1996 Audi A3 using the same platform as the Volkswagen Golf, Audi TT, Volkswagen Caddy, Volkswagen Touran, SEAT León, SEAT Toledo and Škoda Octavia.
First generation (Type 8L) (1996-2003)
Produced starting from 1993 under the control of Matthias Müller, the Audi A3 was originally introduced in Europe in 1996 car launch also marks the return of Audi in the small car arena after they stop production of the Audi 50 This car was originally made only in the form of 3-door hatchback , using the front-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. In 1999, Audi adds another line of machines by introducing a 1.8L engine with a turbo-powered 180 PS (132 kW; 178 hp) and 1.9L TDI diesel engine with Unit Injector technology "Pumpe Duse" (PD) and a variable geometry turbocharger. 4WD version of the A3 1.8T using a machine-powered 150 PS (110 kW; 148 hp) or 180 PS (130 kW; 180 hp). 1999 Audi 5 door version was also launched to expand their markets.
Audi A3 with code "Typ 8P" was first exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show car show in 2003 with a 3-door hatchback models, with a 4-cylinder engine tech Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) and a 6 speed manual transmission. This car was made with the new PQ35 platform. This car is available with front-wheel drive and quattro 4WD. The petrol engine is the 1.4-liter is available, 1.4-liter TFSI turbo, 1.6-liter, 1.6-liter FSI, the 2.0-liter FSI, TFSI 2.0-liter turbo and 3.2-liter V6 FSI. To A3 TDI diesel engines with a capacity of 1.6 liter, 1.9 liter and 2.0 liter.
5-door hatchback model, named Sportback comes a year later with a choice of wheel and the same machine.
Mid-2003, the product line increased with the entry of a new machine model 2.0 Turbo-FSI-powered 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp), and 3.2L VR6 engine-powered 250 PS (184 kW; 247 hp).

Sportback 5-door body shape that was introduced in June 2004 has a size of 80 mm longer than the usual 3-door models, with larger rear cabin (370 liters). Body shape Sportback also use a new front grille.
