Toyota Prius is a hybrid car manufactured by Toyota. 

Prius was first sold in Japan in 1997 and when it is available at all Toyota dealerships in Japan, making it the first hybrid car that is mass produced in the world. The car is then introduced worldwide in 2000  When the Prius is sold in 80 countries and regions, with the largest market remains Japan and the United States. In May 2008, Prius sales worldwide basis cumulative reach 1 million units,  and in September 2010 reached 2 million units.
