First-generation Chevrolet Captiva (C100; 2006-present)

Generation Captiva C100 designed by Daewoo and CG in the words of Holden, was launched in 2006  Imaging Captiva was inspired by the Chevrolet S3X concept car 2004 S3X concept car developed by GM Daewoo's design center in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon and GM Theta platform base. Its debut at the 2004 Paris Motor Show, another concept car Daewoo, the Chevrolet T2X was first shown at the Seoul Motor Show in 2005 with the design based S3X, using a shorter platform.  T2X referenced as a sport utility coupe, taking into account the rear door hinges, lack conventional forms of B-pillars, and its wheelbase is shortened -Features which was first discovered by Daewoo Oto (later renamed Daewoo Scope concept car) at the Seoul Motor Show 2002 the production is inscribed at the end of 2006,  but as of 2009 no further announcement has been made​​.

To Captiva, Version S3X is realized, either 5 or 7 passenger configurations are available.  standard safety features includes: anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control (ESC), front seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters and airbags for the front seats. In the market, its lux version also includes the higher side airbags as standard.While undergoing safety crash test by Euro NCAP, the Captiva gets a rating of four stars out of a total of five stars that exist.The good results of this test, because Captiva use high-strength steel in which the whole body is designed to spread the load pressure of the collision to all parts, and therefore can ensure the safety of passengers. More active system all-wheel drive is fully integrated with the ESC and anti-lock braking systems, car handling consequently adds and control.
