Interactive taxi cab that is equipped with a touchscreen display on the back of a cab that allows passengers to interact and access a wide variety of information that they need. Available information includes, among others: the taxi and the fare rules, city information for tourists such as a list of restaurants, hotels, bars, discos, as well as information about the weather forecast and news. Furthermore, information about traffic also offered thanks to the support of GPS technology in this tool, so that the passengers can control their travel route and prevent fraud in misleading our taxi driver in these routes them. 

Payment media is quite flexible, just with a debit card or credit card passengers can pay a fee for their travel, cinema tickets, tickets to the show of a sport, and a variety of other interesting events. Interactive Taxi is a project developed by Targeted Media Partners LLC, a company operating in the city of New York, United States, with marketing and advertising as a core business activity. In developing this project, Targeted Media Partners with two business partners, namely Verizon and PeerDirect. Where Verizon is a company engaged in communications services and the companies that won awards for its wireless technology. In America, this company was bona fide in providing wireless services, the number of 43.8 million customers who use their services. Their next partner, PeerDirect located in Bedford, Massachusetts, is an independent company engaged in software development, with an annual income of $ 300 million that directly makes them the leader in the industry. 

Currently interactive taxis can be found in three major cities in the United States, namely Chicago, Boston and San Francisco. In Chicago this project has been running since June 2003, in Boston since July 2004 and in San Francisco since November 2004.
