Nascar Series National Regional

In addition to the main series Mentioning above, NASCAR also held a series of other races that are locally and regionally in the United States and Canada.
Many local race tracks across the United States and Canada run under the banner of Whelen All-American Series, where local riders against each other to be the best and deserved to win the National Championship Whelen All-American Weekly Series. Whelen All-American Series is divided into four divisions. Each division champion at the end of the season receives a gift of money and the right to up grade to a NASCAR national series. Whelen All-American Series is the basis for any stock car racer, a few successful names include: Clint Bowyer, Jimmy Spencer, Tony Stewart, the Bodine brothers and many more.

For regional divisions, NASCAR operates two regional divisions namely Whelen Modified Tour which hold cars open wheel like a formula car that divided the two regions of the North and South as well as the K & N Pro Series is divided into two regions, namely West and East by using a car that is similar to that used in the Nationwide Series. In the past NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division also operates are divided into four divisions: Northwest, Southwest, Southeast and South Central. Division AutoZone then stopped operation at the end of 2005 after watching a lot of trouble NASCAR tracks are less secured and the lack of participants who took part of this series.

In 2003, NASCAR standardized rules for issuing regional touring series AutoZone Elite and Grand National divisions to allow cars from one series to another series race against cars in the same division. 15 best riders of the Grand National and its 10 best riders from AutoZone Elite reunited at the end of the season in a playoff race called the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown, to determine the champion of the annual AutoZone Elite and Grand National. This event regularly held at Irwindale Speedway, California since the beginning of its formation.
Many drivers move up through this series before reaching the Sprint Cup series. In 2002, more than 9,000 riders have a race license series of local and regional career before they climbed higher.
The winners of the Dodge Weekly Series season National Championship, the four AutoZone Elite Division, two divisions Whelen Modified and Grand National Divisions, and the three national series are invited to New York City in December to participate in the celebration of the so-called champions Champions Week, which is then topped with gala at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
