National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (in Indonesian: National Association of Stock Car Racing) or commonly abbreviated with the acronym NASCAR is a family company that organizes a wide variety of racing events. The company was founded by Bill France, Sr. at 1947-48. Now, who held the CEO position at the company is a grandson, Brian France. NASCAR is the largest organizer of auto racing in the United States. The three largest racing series is the NASCAR Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Truck Series. NASCAR approved more than 1,500 races at 100 tracks in 38 states in the United States. In addition, NASCAR races are also held in Canada, Mexico and Europe. NASCAR also held several exhibition races in Suzuka, Japan. Motegi, Japan, and Calder Park Raceway, Australia.

NASCAR's headquarters are in Daytona Beach, Florida as well as other branch offices in four cities in the state of North Carolina: Charlotte, Mooresville, Concord, and Conover regional office is in New York City, Los Angeles, Bentonville. For offices outside the United States is located in Mexico City and Toronto.

NASCAR is one of the most widely watched sport based on television ratings in the United States. [5] Outside of America, NASCAR is broadcast in more than 150 countries. In 2004, security director declared NASCAR ranks 17th of 20 sporting events attended regular weekly audience every season.  Fortune magazine stated the company cash flow flowing sponsorship in NASCAR racing event exceed such as Formula One or MotoGP,  although since the 11 September 2001 attacks that have a direct impact on the economy in the United States, several companies began to reduce their sponsorship activities in the arena of sports.
