The First Competion On Formula One


Juan Manuel Fangio drove this Alfa-Romeo 159 to win the 1951 series. 
Formula One world title first won by the Italian Giuseppe Farina in his car Alfa Romeo 1950, beating teammate, Argentine driver Juan Manuel Fangio. However, Fangio won the world title in 1951 and four times in the next six years. Fangio went on to become legends that dominated the early years of Formula One competition

World champion from Great Britain who first was Mike Hawthorn, who drove a Ferrari won the title in 1958 then Colin Chapman entered F1 competition as a car designer and later became the founder of Lotus, British racing green came to dominate the competition in the next few decades. Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Jack Brabham, Graham Hill, and Denny Hulme was a series name of the British team rider and Commonwealth countries who won twelve world championships between 1962 and 1973. 

In 1962, Lotus introduced a car with an aluminum frame known as monocoque which replace traditional tubular frame. This discovery became a big technological step forward since the invention of mid-engines. 1968 was the first time in this sport wear sponsor beginning with the Lotus painting "Imperial Tobacco" in his car. 

Press down force aerodynamics (downforce) slowly plays an important role in the design of the car, starting with the advent of the 1960 aerofoil. The late 1970s, Lotus introduced ground effect aerodynamics (ground effect) that produces good compression force thereby increasing the speed at corner (this concept been tested previously by Jim Hall with his IndyCar team in 1960.
