The Second Generation Kia Picanto Hatchback Cars (2011-present)

The second generation Picanto debut was at the time of the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 
Designed by KIA European design team based in Frankfurt, Germany, under the direction of Peter Schreyer, than its predecessor, the new model is longer wheel axis. Offered with two engine options namely a capacity of 1.0-liter three-cylinder  or 1:25-liter four-cylinder. European specifications for 1:25 liter engine with eco Dynamics features, fuel efficiency system ISG (Idle Start and Go). In addition there is also the option of LPG gas fuel for its 1.0-liter version. & manual transmission automatic- her remains unchanged as its predecessor.

Picanto is available in the entire world (except North America and Australia) as a 5-door hatchback while the European market received a 3-door variant. 3-door version of the same length as the 5-door version, but has a sporty new window, different bumper and grill front with silver trim and red. 

Marketing
As part of a marketing campaign Picanto, Kia produced promotional video featuring animation art nail polish first in the world. More than 900 artificial nails and nail polish bottles used 1,200 within 25 days (each nail painting takes 2 hours) to form a moving image Picanto.
