In Japan, the Legacy was launched in late 1993, and was named to Sports Legacy Touring Sedan models, and Legacy Touring Wagon Station Wagon models. The machine used is a 2000 cc SOHC, 2000 cc DOHC, 2200 cc, 2500 cc and 2000 cc DOHC turbo.
For the Australian market, the Legacy still called Liberty and generations was awarded Car of the Year from renowned automotive magazine in the country. Liberty trim models marketed in grade LX, GX, RX, and Heritage.
Legacy GT-B was introduced in Japan in 1996 This is a highly capable sport model turbo engine that uses artificial Bilstein sport suspension.
For the USA market, the Legacy is available in trim levels Brighton, L, LS, and GT Limited.
In this generation launched Legacy Station Wagon with high ground clearance, large tires, and large fog lamps so handsome appearance as SUVs. Legacy Outback Legacy is named for the international market or the Legacy Grand Wagon in Japan. 2,500 cc engine, the Outback is a successful product in the United States and Australia. For model year 1999 in America, was launched Legacy SUS (Sport Utility Sedan). Although the concept is the same as the Outback, Legacy Sedan based SUS.
