V6 Engine

V6 engine is an internal combustion engine with a 6-cylinder V configuration engine mounted in the tub with two branches, each of which consists of 3 cylinders. Usually between branches form a special angle or an acute angle to one another and run one sixth piston crankshaft. This machine is one of the most popular engine choice after inline 4 engine.

The machine that plural is usually used in modern car engine 6-cylinder engine replaces that require a large space for modern cars today. Although its structure is more complicated and not as smooth inline 6 engines, but the V6 engine is more compact, more rigid and tend to not cause vibration due to torque on the crankshaft. The V6 engine is widely used as a medium sedan version where the optional inline 4 engine typically be standardnya or it could be a standard engine where a V8 engine into the engine enhancements. 

V6 engines today have the power and torque that is almost comparable to a V8 engine with a more fuel efficient and lower emission. An example is the 3.0L TFSI engine Volkswagen Group which is equipped with a turbocharger and injection, and the Ford Ecoboost V6 engine already be compared with Volkswagen's 4.2L V8 engine. 
V6 engine is currently widely used for machines with capacity ranging from 2.5L to 4.3 L (150 to 260 cu in), although there are many cases of this machine is applied to a larger capacity or smaller.

The first car with a V6 engine was made in 1905 by Marmon. Marmon including manufacturer "specialists" in making the engine V. He started with V2, and V4 and later V6, V8, and in the 1930s became a bit of all automotive manufacturers that once made V16. 
Car production started by the Lancia V6 1950 with the advent of the Lancia Aurelia. Then, in 1959, the GMC truck also introduced the 5.0L V6 with the Chevrolet Suburban. By GM, the engine was enlarged to 7.8L capacity for larger trucks and buses to the needs of
