Toyota Auris is a compact car shaped hatchback that uses the same type E platform with the Corolla. Auris was designed by Toyota's European studio in France, and is targeted to compete in the hatchback car market in Europe is very competitive. Auris is also marketed in Japan. In Australia and New Zealand, called the Corolla hatchback Auris, Corolla because the brand image is very strong there.

Toyota Blade is an expensive version of the Auris is only sold in Japan. Blade comes with a different appearance with the Auris on all the front panel, headlights, and taillights. The interior is also more luxurious. Engine used by the Toyota Blade is a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter 2AZ-FE and 3.5 liter V6 2GR-FE. This machine is also used by the Toyota Camry and Lexus IS350.
