Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Fifth Generation

Latest Legacy no longer adopt frameless door window and opera window owned by four generations earlier. Legacy is larger and more robust than previous models and the interior is more spacious, more luxurious and quieter. Like the previous generation, with code BM Legacy (Sedan) and BR (Wagon) comes with MacPherson strut type front suspension, but the rear suspension is a totally new type of Double Wishbone more subtle, remain stable, and make greater luggage space. 

For the Japanese domestic market, the Legacy B4 Sedan and Touring Wagon is offered in 2.5i and 2.5GT models with a choice of L and S Package Package for all models, as well as SI Cruise to 2.5GT. Legacy is one of the cars is popular in Japan. 

2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT

The machine used is a 2000 cc EJ20, EJ25 2,500 cc normally aspirated and turbo, and the EZ36 3600 cc petrol and 2000 cc diesel EE20. EJ series petrol engine and EZ adopt the Active Valve Control System (AVCS) which makes it efficient. Legacy gasoline engine of 2000 cc and 2500 cc normally aspirated using Lineartronic continuously variable transmission is smooth and can save fuel. Legacy with a 2500 cc turbo engine and 6-cylinder 3600 cc using a 5 speed automatic SPORTSHIFT. 6 speed manual transmission mounted on the Legacy of 2000 cc and turbo diesel (for Europe) and 2500 cc turbo 2.5GT models. For the Japanese market, Singapore, and Australia, the Legacy 2.5GT is also available with automatic transmission. 

The new Legacy also comes with Subaru Intelligent-Drive (SI-Drive) with mode "Intelligent", "Sport" and "Sport Sharp", which gives the engine power according to the required conditions. Intelligent which can save fuel suitable for use in the city with heavy traffic. Sport is used for high speed, outside the city, and accelerate on a straight road. Sport Sharp (S #) with the high-rev engine is used for overtaking and acceleration responsive on winding roads and a lot of corners. However, for the North American market, the latest Legacy SI-Drive has not had to price more competitively. 

All Legacy models come with VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control) electronically controlled to monitor the motion of the wheel, steering position, and style in all directions so as to make the car remains stable in all road conditions. Hand brake is replaced with an electronic brake connected with Hill-Holder. 

Legacy for the United States is available in 2.5i trim levels (Base, Premium, Limited), 2.5GT (Premium, Limited), and 3.6R (Base, Premium, Limited). Legacy 2.5GT is only available with a 6 speed manual transmission. American Legacy has a hood, grille, and front bumper different with Legacy in other countries. SI-Drive is not installed on the Legacy in America. 

Legacy B4 modified participate in the Super GT Championship in touring car racing championship in Japan.
