Car And Vehicles Review- Car radiator,Radiators are heat exchange used to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another medium whose purpose is to cool or heat. Radiator which we know is mostly used in motor vehicles (two-wheel or four-wheel), but not infrequently also used on the engine radiator requiring extra cooling. As the production machine or other machines that work in conditions of severe or prolonged labor. In both the motor vehicle or automobile radiators are generally located in front of and to be near the machine or at a specific position that is beneficial to the cooling system. It is intended that the machine get maximum cooling machine as needed.

Radiator function

Function is to cool the radiator coolant which has become hot after a water jacket channels. Construction consisting of the upper radiator tank (tank top), the radiator core (core radiator) and lower tanks (tank bottom).

a) Tank top (tank top)
The water tank (upper tank water) is a component of the radiator which serves to hold water that has heat from the engine. The tank is also equipped with filling holes and inlet cooling water from the engine. Filling hole should be covered with the radiator cap (radiator cap).

b) Radiator core
Core radiator or radiator core function is to absorb heat in the cooling water that has heat, which is then cooled by the fan and the air outside the car run arising due. Radiator core consists of water pipes to drain the water from the upper tank to the lower tank and the cooling fins to dissipate heat water that is in the pipes air.Ada two core type radiator (radiator cores), the type of plate (flat fin type) and type of curvature (currogated type). The difference between these two types depends on the model of the cooling fins. Some modern vehicles using the latest version of the type of the curve, of type SR radiator. SR radiator radiator core type has only a single pipe arrangement (sinle row) so that the overall shape becomes thinner and lighter than the usual radiator.

c) Bottom Tank (tank bottom / lower tank)
Tank (lower tank) serves to store water that has been cooled by the fan and the air through the radiator core and then channeled into the machine through the water pump. At the bottom of the tank is also fitted waterways that would relate to pump water and sewer or drain cock which serves to remove water when cleaning the radiator or radiator drain.
